Junior Section Report for Session 2010/11 The Junior Section Boys have once again had a busy year. We have only 8 boys on the roll this year and they have all worked very hard to gain their respective badges. The 3rd year boys have gained their gold badge and we wish them well as they on up to the Company Section. Over the past year, the boys have had a great variety of activities to make up their weekly programme. Halloween saw the boys cater for their parents, making pizzas, cakes and tea. We have had an enjoyable visit to the Guide Dog Centre in February and a trip to the Mills Observatory in March. The boys each made a gift for Mothers Day and enjoyed an evening with Boys from 1st Kirrie & 1st Charleston companies all before school holidays. Well done to them all for their efforts. For the next few weeks or so we plan to organise a summer programme with visits, games etc, something a bit different. Our camp this year is on the 1st - 3rd July, we are off to Scott Lodge again where we will have the boys bringing their Dads along to join in the fun. My thanks to all the parents ets, who support us throughout the year, encouraging your boy in all his BB activities. Lastly to my Staff - Betty Lovegrove and David Low, for all their hard work and support over the past year without them the Section could not function. This year we had Lance Corporal Sean Baird in the Section helping with the boys as part of his Queens Badge work. He has been very capable and willing helper and very popular with the Boys and Staff. Have a good summer Irene Duthie
