Souper Friday Lunches in Inverarity Hall started in May 2024 and they have been going really well. We raised money for all these charities:- May 2024 - Christian Aid, July - Parkinsons Scotland, August - Lochside Connections, September – Macmillan Cancer, October - Poppy Scotland, November – CHAS; January 2025 - Lochside Connections, February - Guide Dogs Blind Association, March - Forfar Day Care, April - Forfar Grief Café, RSABI, May. Donations exceeding £1900 over the period, which is amazing. We have a great Team with laughs along the way. Well done to all those that come along and enjoy the chat and support these Charities, always room for more. We have had all sorts of tasty soups and here are a few to tempt you back: tomato & lentil, sweet potato & coconut, leek & potato, spicy lentil, butternut squash, cream of broccoli, spicy sweet potato & chicken broth. Suggestions or requests are welcome too. We generally have a turnout of 30 to 40 which is great, and the noise levels are amazing too with all the chat. We hope to see you soon. |
