All elders on duty should report to the Foreman and Minister. If unable to attend it is the elder's responsibilty to find a replacement in good time.
If there are visitors in the Church please let the Minister know before the service.
Team Leader: Supervise others on duty, check off the duty list and if necessary find a replacement for any person missing. Ensure the Bible is on the lectern and open at the reading. The team leader will stand between the red door and the reception door. Duty 1: Situated in reception area, one at the East Door and one at the West Door (marked as East and West in colours), handing out Order of Service/Notices. Duty 2: Situated in the sanctuary, meet and greet people and inform Minister of any visitors. Offerings: Those on offering duty, which is duty 2, will collect the offering plates from the stands and take them to the chancel at the appropriate time during the service. At the end of the service they will come forward and collect the plates again and then take to the office. Duty Treasurer: At the 11:15am service, the Duty Treasurer (in bold and underlined) to assist with Count afterwards - on the weeks where there is no Duty Treasurer highlighted, this is Joyce Archibald and Aileen McKenzie is on duty but not Duty Treasurer, Aileen will be underlined. Where there is no Duty Treasure or Aileen, Susan Proctor has volunteered to become a Duty Treasurer and is on those weeks, the date will be highlighted for Susan’s weeks.
